A rounded-seeded variety which can overwinter when sown in late summer and autumn. Produces a crop with fairly large, dark green leaves. Sow in rows in the garden. Sow a number of rows soon after one another to ensure a longer harvesting period. Requires much nitrogen, potassium and moisture. Does not easily bolt, however do not sow outside the sowing period indicated, otherwise the crop will bolt.
