This very special Garden Nasturtium has fortunately been conserved throughout the years. The flowers are velvety, mahogany-coloured, almost black, embedded on dark leaves. Excellent as hanging plant or of course as ground cover (suppresses weeds). The strong peppery flavoured leaves and particularly the flowers are sometimes used in salads. Sow in the final spot for use as ground cover. Very little or no fertilization.
