This Amaranth has dark red flowers in long, overhanging flowering tassels. Excellent as cut flower. Particularly in large flower arrangements it can help give a very distinctive look. In old gardens this was often used to give height to the middle of a round flower bed. Sow directly in the garden in seedbeds, thin out and later transplant.
