The fresh, deep green leaves with their refined minty flavour can be harvested in the summer. Tasty in salads and soups as well as in vegetable and meat dishes. A refreshing tea can be made from either the dried or fresh leaves. It is a wonderfully fragrant herb and the flowers attract bees and butterflies. Sow in a greenhouse or in the garden. Can then if required be pricked out and transplanted to final spot. Requires a slightly humic, damp spot.
