Sow early in a greenhouse. As soon as they can be handled, prick out and pot. Transplant to final spot after mid May. The stems of the plant are slightly hairy and sticky. The leaf stems and the bracts are prickly. Beautiful, extraordinary, deep pink flowers, that fade to pale pink with long purple stamen whiskers. Excellent bee and butterfly plant.
