One of the easiest climbers to cultivate. The plants grow fairly vigorously and bloom quickly. Pleasant colour combination of orange, yellow and white. They sometimes have a darker heart, hence the name Black-eyed Susan. Sow in a greenhouse at 21-24oC. After emergence prick out and harden off. Outside they can climb alongside mesh or fencing, in a sunny, sheltered spot. If inside, plant in pots with a trellis.
