Basil - Dark Opal
Basil can be sown indoors all year round. For outdoor cultivation, sow indoors from March to July and move outdoors as soon as temperatures exceed 20°C. This basilicum has reddish stems and dark red leaves. The high anthocyanin content gives it an extra spicy taste. It is a beautiful plant which is also suitable for ornamental gardens.
