Mexican Hat Plant
Sow in a greenhouse from March to April or outside in the open ground or pots from May to June. The colour ful flower heads, which resemble the traditional Sombrero hat, have folded back leaves in a dark red colour and a nice yellow edge. The striking dark brown centre protrudes at least 2–3 cm above the petals. Upright prairie coneflower is drought resistant.
