Spinach - Nores
Each species of tortoise has its own preferences and feeding habits. Most tortoises are omnivores and eat both animal and plant-based foods. Tortoises do not get enough vitamins and nutrients for good health if they only eat meat and insects. Older tortoises in particular need more plant-based food. Try to vary as much as possible and never give too much. Tortoises are gluttons and can easily overeat.
Animal Favorites are intended for growing complementary animal foods yourself. Always vary complementary pet food and use it in moderation in addition to the basic (complete) pet food.
