A climbing, thermophilic plant which grows well in a greenhouse. Can only grow in the garden as of mid May. Also grows well in large pots. It is a tender, piquant vegetable, which can be prepared like spinach. For an early harvest sow in a greenhouse in pots or soil blocks. For later harvests, sow in the garden. Soak the seeds for 12 hours before sowing.
