Celeriac Goliath
A clear improvement of the old Giant of Prague. Goliath has better resistance to running to seed and is easier to clean. The harvested tubers can be eaten raw, boiled and deep-fried. Best sown in a greenhouse. After emergence prick out, allow to harden off for a while and then transplant to moist soil. Harvest before frost starts. If stored in a cool place, the harvested tubers keep for a long time.
