This Dianthus used to be popular for potpourri and bouquets. Lindoya forms clumps of dense green leaves, grows low, is single-flowered and produces carmine-pink flowers. Thrives in direct sunlight. When sown early, therefore in a greenhouse, can produce flowers in the first year. Also does well in the garden in a seedbed, after which it is transplanted.
