Toothache Plant
Sow under glass from February to May, prick out when they are 2 cm and
plant out from May. The plant has numerous stems and the tips form yellow
flowers with a red centre. Eating the flower buds gives a spicy to peppery
flavour and causes a tingling sensation on the lips.
