Damask-violet
The damask-violet has beautiful purple/violet-coloured flowers that become particularly fragrant in the evening, which is why the plant is also called mother-of-the-evening. The damask-violet blooms from early May and
prefers a moist spot in partial shade. The damask-violet can often be found along the banks of rivers and streams. Deadheading after the first bloom will cause the plant to bloom again until September. Sow in a seedbed from
May to July and transplant from October to November.
Essential flowers for the flora & fauna in our environment.
