Besides grasses or hay with meadow herbs, a guinea pig needs fresh vegetables and fruit every day to get all the important nutrients. Rocket contains lots of vitamins C, K and folic acid, making it a perfect fit for the guinea pig diet. Guinea pigs in particular need much more vitamin C daily than other rodents. Try to vary as much as possible and give small bits of different vegetables throughout the day.
Animal Favorites are intended for growing complementary animal foods yourself. Always vary complementary pet food and use it in moderation in addition to the basic (complete) pet food.
