Leek
Vegetable sprouts are easily cultivated with water. The sprouts have a distinct, fresh, leek flavour and can be used as a garnish with meat or fish, as an addition to salads, and on sandwiches.
Leek sprouts are rich in calcium, phosphorus, potassium, iron and vitamins A, B, C, E and B12.
