Purple Millet
This feather millet is suitable for all seed-eating birds and is rich in iron, magnesium, copper, phosphorus and manganese. It also contains vitamins B1 and B6. Besides a high protein content, millet is also very rich in silica (silicon). Silica supports the build-up of skin and feathers. Millet is remarkable in that it supports temperature management. This makes it particularly helpful for older animals. It can also be used as an ornamental grass in your garden.
Animal Favorites are intended for growing complementary animal foods yourself. Always vary complementary pet food and use it in moderation in addition to the basic (complete) pet food.
